Alameda’s Pacific Pinball Museum in collaboration with Novato’s Pinball Revival Company held the 3rd annual Pacific Pinball Exposition (PPE) at the Marin County Civic Center Exhibition Hall in San Rafael, CA on in October 2009! A great pinball show, that isn’t just a pinball show.
With nearly 400 playable machines ranging from 1930 to 2009, the PPE is the world’s largest pinball show. And as you can tell from the photos, perhaps the world’s most beautiful.
The PPE is not just about playing pinball; it’s about learning, too, with placards highlighting each machine’s historical and cultural significance. The PPE also features exhibits and seminars on the History, Science, Physics, and Art of pinball…including seminars on how to become a pinball wizard!
For a good cause.
Proceeds from this event go to the Pacific Pinball Museum, a 501 c 3 non-profit dedicated to the promotion and preservation of one of America’s great pastimes.
